The Experiential nfT

A souvenir like no other.

HOW IT WORKS

  1. VERIFY it.

Send proof of your experience in the form below so we can verify you were there.

2. REMEMBER IT

We'll email you a unique piece of artwork commemorating the event, which you have the option to buy for the price of a souvenir. Only those who were in attendance can unlock the artwork.

The story

I only collect one thing: souvenirs

When I was a kid, everytime I visited a place, my dad would let me get one souvenir. My Cape Canaveral metal space shuttle, 1 cm Bangkok buddha, Smashing Pumpkins Chicago T shirt, Costa Rica bumper sticker, paper mache buen Buenos Areais hot air balloon, and Tokyo matchbox robot are some of my most prized possessions.

Over the years, as I had kids, my souvenirs have all seen some wear and term. I likely can replace any of these on Amazon today, but it wouldn't be the same. There's something about being there of being part of something that I've imprinted on these objects. It's that same feeling that makes me bullish on Experiential NFTs - a new category and product line a friend and I built over this last week.

For those not familiar, NFTs are a technology that allows us to capture verified truth. I believe one powerful application is being able to possess something that no one else besides those that have experienced it. To the individual, Experiential NFTs open the door to unique memories. To a community, Experiential NFTs open a door to shared experiences and connection (image a bunrning man 'alumni' group where you can continue the shared experience)

I know right now NFTs are associated with (arguably) not-so-elegant art. But technology has a strange way of finding the right market. To me, what's more special than creating a new way to remember our shared experiences.
